Meet Sassy.  She is currently available for adoption with the Humane Society of Central Texas.  She is in foster care and doing great.  Sassy has had a hard life.  She was tethered all of her life, approximately 4 years, in a yard.  Had several litters of pups.  Finally, a volunteer for the shelter convinced the owners to let him take her to get spayed and keep her while she recuperated.  He had watched out for her over all those years while she was in their yard.

After her surgery, he spoke with them again.  They agreed to sign her over for adoption.  She has come a long way.  She is now crate trained.  Learning basic commands.  Enjoying life!
