I traveled to the shelter last Saturday to pick up my next Mutt Makeover model.  After walking thru all the buildings, I chose a nameless heeler.  Shelter staff told me I could name him.  So off to the studio we went and pictures were taken.

I decided to name him Butch.  He was an absolute doll.  We hit it off right away.  By the end of the day, I decided I had to adopt him!!  So back to the shelter we went one last time but this time he was coming back with me permanently.

So welcome Butch into the Crazy M family!!

Miss Maria is a resident of the Humane Society of Central Texas.  Absolute DOLL!!  She is waiting for her forever home.  I hope these pictures aid in her pursuit!

Meet Sassy.  She is currently available for adoption with the Humane Society of Central Texas.  She is in foster care and doing great.  Sassy has had a hard life.  She was tethered all of her life, approximately 4 years, in a yard.  Had several litters of pups.  Finally, a volunteer for the shelter convinced the owners to let him take her to get spayed and keep her while she recuperated.  He had watched out for her over all those years while she was in their yard.

After her surgery, he spoke with them again.  They agreed to sign her over for adoption.  She has come a long way.  She is now crate trained.  Learning basic commands.  Enjoying life!
